Goals and Motto
The business started as part-time in 1966 through school, college, etc., before going full-time in 1987. While our motto began as "Not the biggest, just the best," we have grown every year to our current studio location of 1000+ square feet of showroom with hundreds of animals on display. Here we have student tours, as well as thousands of customers over the years. The goal of the business is to create lifelike mounts with unique habitats or positions. Bob has the talent and vision necessary to modify forms and bring each mount into a one-of-a-kind display. We now can say, we are the biggest and still the best!
Bob Borow, a professional taxidermist, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. He and his wife, Lynne, have been married 40 years and had three daughters, and currently 5 grandchildren, all of whom participate in the activities of the studio to some degree.
Bob has been part of the NRA, SCI, National Taxidermist Association, past board member and competition chairperson of The NYS Taxidermy Association, as well as many years as an instructor for both rifle and bow hunter training courses. He is an avid, lifelong hunter and has hunted across most of the US, including 4 trips to Alaska, numerous trips to Canada, and most recently to South Africa. He has mounted trophies from across North America, Asia, Africa, and Australia, many of which are on display in his showroom.
